A quick and patriotic individual dessert featuring layers of cake, fresh strawberries, and blueberries.
Ingredients
4 cups pound cake or angel food cake, cubed
2 cups fresh strawberries, chopped
1 cup fresh blueberries
2 cups whipped cream
Instructions
Step 1: Cube the cake into bite-sized 1-inch pieces.
Step 2: Wash and chop the strawberries, then rinse the blueberries.
Step 3: Place a layer of cake cubes at the bottom of 6 clear serving cups.
Step 4: Add a layer of chopped strawberries over the cake.
Step 5: Top with a generous dollop of whipped cream.
Step 6: Finish with a layer of blueberries on top.
Step 7: Chill for 10 minutes before serving for the best taste.
