Description
A incredibly simple two-ingredient snack that creates a brittle, crunchy shell around a cold ice cream center.
Ingredients
1 box (8 count) Fruit Roll-Ups
1 pint high-quality vanilla ice cream
Optional: Sour sanding sugar or sprinkles
Instructions
Step 1: Unroll a Fruit Roll-Up and discard the plastic sheet.
Step 2: Place a small, firm scoop of ice cream (about 1 tbsp) onto the center of the fruit leather.
Step 3: Quickly fold the corners of the fruit leather over the ice cream to seal it.
Step 4: Wait 30 seconds for the fruit leather to freeze and become crunchy.
Step 5: Enjoy immediately while the shell is brittle!
Notes
Work in small batches to prevent the ice cream from melting before the fruit leather can harden.
