Description

A quick, creamy, and festive no-bake dessert dip bursting with funfetti flavor and colorful sprinkles. Perfect for parties and easy entertaining!

Ingredients

Scale

1 (8 ounce) package cream cheese, softened
1/2 cup powdered sugar
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 (15.25 ounce) box funfetti or vanilla cake mix (ensure it's safe to eat raw)
1 (8 ounce) container frozen whipped topping (Cool Whip), thawed
1/4 cup rainbow sprinkles, plus more for garnish

Instructions

Step 1: In a large mixing bowl, using an electric mixer, beat the softened cream cheese until smooth and creamy, about 1-2 minutes.
Step 2: Add the powdered sugar and vanilla extract to the cream cheese. Beat again until well combined and fluffy, scraping down the sides of the bowl as needed.
Step 3: Slowly add the dry funfetti cake mix to the cream cheese mixture. Beat on low speed until just combined, being careful not to overmix.
Step 4: Gently fold in the thawed whipped topping using a spatula, until no streaks remain and the mixture is light and airy.
Step 5: Stir in the rainbow sprinkles. Reserve a small amount of sprinkles for garnish if desired, and fold gently to avoid color bleeding.
Step 6: Transfer the funfetti dip to a serving bowl. Cover tightly with plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes to allow the flavors to meld and the dip to firm up slightly.
Step 7: Before serving, garnish with additional sprinkles. Serve chilled with your favorite dippers like cookies, pretzels, or fruit.

Notes

Ensure your cream cheese is at room temperature for a super smooth dip. If your cake mix isn't explicitly labeled as safe to eat raw, you can heat-treat it by spreading it on a baking sheet and baking at 300°F (150°C) for 5 minutes, then letting it cool completely before using.
