Ingredients
1/2 cup heavy whipping cream
1/4 cup 2% milk
2 tablespoons lavender simple syrup (homemade or store-bought)
1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 tablespoon dried culinary lavender buds (for syrup)
Instructions
Step 1: To make the syrup, simmer 1/2 cup water, 1/2 cup sugar, and 1 tablespoon lavender buds for 5 minutes, then cool and strain.
Step 2: In a chilled glass jar, combine the heavy whipping cream, milk, and 2 tablespoons of the prepared lavender syrup.
Step 3: Add the vanilla extract if using, and ensure all ingredients are cold.
Step 4: Use a handheld electric frother to whisk the mixture for 30-45 seconds until thick and creamy.
Step 5: Pour the foam gently over an iced coffee or cold brew and serve immediately.
