Ingredients
2 cups all-purpose flour
1 tsp baking soda
1/2 tsp salt
1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
1/2 cup granulated sugar
3/4 cup dark brown sugar
1 large egg
1 tsp vanilla extract
1 tsp butter extract
1 cup butterscotch chips
Instructions
Step 1: Preheat oven to 350°F and line baking sheets with parchment paper.
Step 2: Whisk together flour, baking soda, and salt in a medium bowl.
Step 3: Cream butter and both sugars until light and fluffy.
Step 4: Mix in the egg, vanilla extract, and butter extract.
Step 5: Gradually stir in the dry ingredients until combined.
Step 6: Fold in the butterscotch chips and chill dough for 30 minutes.
Step 7: Scoop tablespoons of dough onto sheets and bake for 10-12 minutes.
