An iconic Atlantic Canadian no-churn ice cream featuring a whimsical swirl of banana, grape, and bubblegum flavors.
Ingredients
2 cups cold heavy whipping cream
14 oz can sweetened condensed milk
1 tsp banana extract
1 tsp grape flavoring syrup
1 tsp bubblegum flavoring
Yellow, purple, and blue gel food coloring
Instructions
Step 1: Chill your large mixing bowl and whisk attachments in the freezer for 10 minutes.
Step 2: Whip the cold heavy cream until stiff peaks form.
Step 3: Gently fold in the sweetened condensed milk until smooth.
Step 4: Divide the mixture into three separate bowls.
Step 5: Flavor each bowl: add banana and yellow color to one, grape and purple to the second, and bubblegum and blue to the third.
Step 6: Spoon alternating colors into a loaf pan.
Step 7: Swirl gently with a knife to create the mist effect.
Step 8: Freeze for at least 6-8 hours before serving.
Notes
Ensure the heavy cream is extremely cold to achieve the best volume.
