Ingredients

1 cup granulated sugar
1 cup whole milk ricotta cheese
1 large egg
1 tsp vanilla extract
2 tablespoons fresh orange zest
2 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
1 tsp baking powder
1/2 tsp salt
1 cup fresh peaches, peeled and finely diced
1 cup powdered sugar (for glaze)
2-3 tablespoons fresh orange juice (for glaze)
Instructions
Step 1: Preheat oven to 350°F and line baking sheets with parchment paper.
Step 2: Rub orange zest into granulated sugar until fragrant and well-mixed.
Step 3: Cream butter and orange-sugar together until light and fluffy.
Step 4: Mix in the egg, vanilla, and ricotta cheese until smooth.

Step 6: Gently fold in the diced peaches using a spatula.
Step 7: Scoop tablespoon-sized portions onto sheets, 2 inches apart.
Step 8: Bake for 12-15 minutes until edges are set but not overly browned.
Step 9: Drizzle with orange juice and powdered sugar glaze once cooled.
