Ingredients
1 (9-inch) graham cracker crust
1 package (3 oz) Cherry flavored gelatin
1 cup boiling water
1/2 cup cold water
1 tub (8 oz) whipped topping, thawed
Fresh blueberries and strawberries for garnish
Instructions
Step 1: In a large bowl, whisk the cherry gelatin into the boiling water for at least 2 minutes until fully dissolved.
Step 2: Stir in the cold water. Let the mixture sit for 5 minutes to cool slightly.
Step 3: Whisk in half of the whipped topping until the mixture is uniform in color.
Step 4: Pour the mixture into the graham cracker crust and spread it evenly.
Step 5: Refrigerate for 30-60 minutes, then top with the remaining whipped topping and garnish with fruit in a patriotic pattern.
Step 6: Chill for at least 4 hours before serving.
Notes
Ensure the Cool Whip is completely thawed for a smooth texture. Do not skip the 2-minute stir time for the gelatin.
