Description
A quick, delicious, and energizing iced coffee boosted with protein, perfect for a morning pick-me-up or post-workout refuel. One of the simplest and most satisfying protein coffee recipes to make at home.
Ingredients
1 cup cold brew coffee (or chilled brewed coffee)
1 scoop (approx. 25-30g) vanilla protein powder (whey or plant-based)
1/2 cup unsweetened milk (dairy, almond, oat, or soy)
1-2 teaspoons sweetener of choice (e.g., maple syrup, stevia, optional)
Handful of ice
Instructions
Step 1: In a shaker bottle, blender, or large mug, combine the cold brew coffee, milk, vanilla protein powder, and optional sweetener.
Step 2: If using a shaker bottle, secure the lid tightly and shake vigorously for 20-30 seconds until the protein powder is fully dissolved and the mixture is frothy. If using a blender, blend on low speed until smooth, about 10-15 seconds. If using a mug, whisk very well with a fork or small whisk, ensuring no clumps remain.
Step 3: Fill a tall glass with ice.
Step 4: Pour the protein coffee mixture over the ice.
Step 5: Serve immediately and enjoy your energizing Vanilla Protein Iced Coffee!
Notes
For best results, use a high-quality protein powder that mixes well. Adjust sweetener to your preference. This recipe can easily be doubled or tripled for more servings.
