Description

A creamy, no-bake patriotic fruit salad featuring fresh strawberries, blueberries, and bananas in a rich cheesecake dressing.


Ingredients

8 oz cream cheese, softened
1/3 cup granulated sugar
1 tsp vanilla extract
8 oz whipped topping (thawed)
1 lb fresh strawberries, hulled and sliced
1 lb fresh blueberries
3 large bananas, sliced
1 tsp lemon juice (optional)


Instructions

Step 1: In a large bowl, beat the softened cream cheese until smooth and creamy using a hand mixer.
Step 2: Add the sugar and vanilla extract to the cream cheese and beat until well combined and fluffy.
Step 3: Gently fold in the whipped topping with a spatula until the mixture is uniform and light.
Step 4: Prepare the fruit by washing and drying the strawberries and blueberries; slice the strawberries and bananas.
Step 5: If using, toss the banana slices in lemon juice to prevent browning.
Step 6: Add the strawberries, blueberries, and bananas to the cream cheese mixture and fold gently until the fruit is coated.
Step 7: Chill in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes before serving to allow the flavors to meld.

Notes

Ensure the cream cheese is fully softened to avoid lumps in the dressing. For a lighter version, use low-fat cream cheese and sugar-free whipped topping.
