Description
A smoky, creamy, and mildly spicy spread featuring charred jalapeños and rich cream cheese.
Ingredients
16 oz cream cheese, softened
4 large jalapeño peppers
1 tbsp honey
1 tbsp fresh lime juice
1/2 tsp smoked sea salt
1/4 cup chopped green onions (optional)
Instructions
Step 1: Broil whole jalapeños on a baking sheet until skins are completely charred and black.
Step 2: Steam the hot peppers in a covered bowl for 10 minutes to loosen the skin.
Step 3: Peel off the charred skin and finely dice the peppers, removing seeds if a milder dip is preferred.
Step 4: Beat softened cream cheese in a mixing bowl until light and fluffy.
Step 5: Mix in the diced jalapeños, honey, lime juice, and smoked salt until smooth.
Step 6: Serve immediately or refrigerate to allow flavors to meld.
Notes
Ensure the cream cheese is fully at room temperature for the smoothest texture.
