Description
A festive, layered mint and chocolate pudding dessert inspired by the classic St. Patrick's Day shake.
Ingredients
1 package (3.4 oz) instant chocolate pudding mix
2 cups cold milk
1 package (3.4 oz) instant mint pudding mix
2 cups cold milk
1 cup whipped cream or whipped topping
3 drops green food coloring (optional)
2 tbsp chocolate shavings for garnish
Instructions
Step 1: Whisk the chocolate pudding mix with 2 cups of cold milk in a medium bowl for 2 minutes. Let sit for 5 minutes.
Step 2: In another bowl, whisk the mint pudding mix with the remaining 2 cups of cold milk. Stir in green food coloring if using.
Step 3: Pipe or spoon a layer of chocolate pudding into the bottom of 6 clear dessert cups.
Step 4: Top the chocolate layer with a layer of the green mint pudding.
Step 5: Refrigerate for at least 30 minutes to set completely.
Step 6: Top with whipped cream and chocolate shavings before serving.
Notes
Use a Ziploc bag with the corner cut off to pipe the layers into the glasses for a cleaner look.
