Description

A creamy, cheesy seafood topping made with shrimp and crab served on warm, flaky biscuits.

Ingredients

Scale

2 cups cooked shrimp, chopped
1 cup crab meat, drained and flaked
1/2 cup mayonnaise
1/4 cup cream cheese, softened
1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
8 large refrigerated buttermilk biscuits, baked and halved
1 cup shredded Monterey Jack cheese
1/4 cup chopped fresh chives
1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

Step 1: Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
Step 2: Slice the pre-baked biscuits in half and place them on the baking sheet cut-side up.
Step 3: In a bowl, mix mayonnaise, cream cheese, and Dijon mustard until smooth.
Step 4: Fold in the shrimp, crab meat, garlic powder, and half of the chives.
Step 5: Season with salt and pepper as needed.
Step 6: Spoon the seafood mixture onto the biscuit halves and top with shredded cheese.
Step 7: Bake for 10-12 minutes until the cheese is bubbly and golden.
Step 8: Garnish with remaining chives and serve immediately.

Notes

For the best flavor, use fresh lump crab meat and ensure all seafood is dry before mixing.
