Description

A classic Midwest potluck dessert featuring tart apples, crunchy Snickers bars, and creamy whipped topping.

Ingredients

Scale

6 Granny Smith apples, chopped
6 full-size Snickers candy bars, chopped
1 tub (8 oz) whipped topping, thawed

Instructions

Step 1: Wash and dry the Granny Smith apples thoroughly.
Step 2: Chop the apples into bite-sized cubes, leaving the skin on for color and crunch.
Step 3: Dice the Snickers candy bars into small chunks, roughly the same size as the apple pieces.
Step 4: In a large bowl, combine the apples and the chopped Snickers bars.
Step 5: Fold in the thawed whipped topping until all ingredients are evenly coated.
Step 6: Chill in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes before serving for best flavor.

Notes

Chilling the candy bars before chopping makes them much easier to handle and prevents the caramel from sticking to the knife.
