Ingredients
1 cup granulated sugar
1 cup water
2 tablespoons dried culinary lavender
1 cup fresh lemon juice
3 cups chilled sparkling water
Ice cubes
Fresh lemon slices and lavender sprigs for garnish
Instructions
Step 1: Combine sugar, 1 cup water, and lavender in a small saucepan over medium heat.
Step 2: Stir until sugar dissolves, then simmer for 5 minutes. Remove from heat and cool for 30 minutes.
Step 3: Strain the syrup through a fine-mesh sieve into a jar to remove lavender buds.
Step 4: In a large pitcher, mix the lavender syrup with fresh lemon juice.
Step 5: To serve, fill glasses with ice, pour the base to halfway, top with sparkling water, and garnish.
Notes
