Ingredients
1.5 lbs boneless skinless chicken thighs
1/4 cup honey
2 tablespoons fresh lime juice
1 tablespoon lime zest
3 cloves garlic, minced
1 teaspoon red pepper flakes
1/2 teaspoon smoked paprika
2 tablespoons avocado oil
Fresh cilantro for garnish
Instructions
Step 1: Pat the chicken dry and season with salt and smoked paprika.
Step 2: Mix honey, lime juice, zest, garlic, and chili flakes in a small bowl.
Step 3: Heat oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat and sear chicken for 6 minutes per side.
Step 4: Pour the honey-lime mixture into the skillet during the last 3 minutes of cooking.
Step 5: Baste the chicken with the thickening sauce until it is glossy and cooked through.
Step 6: Garnish with fresh cilantro and serve immediately.
