Description

Crunchy, cheesy, and packed with savory spinach dip flavor, these keto-friendly spinach dip cheese crisps are the ultimate quick snack or party appetizer. Made with just a few simple ingredients, they're ready in under 20 minutes!

Ingredients

Scale

2 cups (8 oz) shredded low-moisture, part-skim mozzarella cheese
1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
4 oz cream cheese, softened
1/2 cup frozen chopped spinach, thawed and very well-drained
1 clove garlic, minced
1/4 teaspoon onion powder
Pinch of salt
Pinch of black pepper

Instructions

Step 1: Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Line a large baking sheet with parchment paper or a silicone baking mat.
Step 2: In a medium bowl, combine the softened cream cheese, minced garlic, onion powder, salt, and black pepper. Mix until smooth and well combined.
Step 3: Add the thoroughly drained chopped spinach to the cream cheese mixture. Fold it in until the spinach is evenly distributed throughout.
Step 4: In a separate small bowl, toss the shredded mozzarella cheese with the Parmesan cheese.
Step 5: For each crisp, take about 1 tablespoon of the mixed cheese and form a small mound on the prepared baking sheet. Gently flatten it slightly. Top each cheese mound with about 1 teaspoon of the spinach-cream cheese mixture, pressing it gently into the cheese.
Step 6: Bake for 8-12 minutes, or until the edges are golden brown and crispy, and the cheese is bubbly and melted. Watch carefully as cooking times can vary.
Step 7: Remove the baking sheet from the oven and let the spinach dip cheese crisps cool on the sheet for 5-10 minutes. This is crucial for them to firm up and become crispy.
Step 8: Carefully use a spatula to transfer the cooled spinach dip cheese crisps to a serving platter. Serve immediately.

Notes

Ensure spinach is very well-drained to achieve maximum crispiness. Adjust baking time based on your oven; crisps should be deep golden brown around the edges. Best enjoyed fresh, but can be stored in an airtight container for up to 2 days.
