Description

A vibrant and refreshing Italian cocktail, the Aperol Spritz is the perfect balance of bitter, sweet, and bubbly. This classic spritz recipe is easy to make and ideal for any gathering.

Ingredients

Scale

3 oz (90ml) chilled Prosecco (Brut or Extra Dry)
2 oz (60ml) Aperol
1 oz (30ml) chilled sparkling water or soda water
Ice
1 fresh orange slice, for garnish

Instructions

Step 1: Fill a large wine glass or tumbler generously with ice.
Step 2: Pour the chilled Prosecco over the ice.
Step 3: Add the Aperol to the glass.
Step 4: Top with sparkling water or soda water.
Step 5: Gently stir once or twice with a spoon to combine the ingredients without losing too much fizz.
Step 6: Garnish with a fresh orange slice and serve immediately. Enjoy your perfect spritz recipe!

Notes

Always use well-chilled ingredients to prevent the ice from melting too quickly and diluting your spritz. The 3-2-1 ratio (3 parts Prosecco, 2 parts Aperol, 1 part sparkling water) is the classic guideline, but feel free to adjust to your taste for a sweeter or drier spritz.
