A thick and creamy vanilla milkshake swirled with strawberry sauce and topped with nostalgic shortcake crumbles.
Ingredients
4 cups premium vanilla bean ice cream
1/2 cup whole milk
1/4 cup fresh strawberries, hulled
1/4 cup strawberry syrup or sauce
1/2 cup crushed vanilla wafers
1 tbsp strawberry gelatin powder
2 tbsp melted unsalted butter
Whipped cream for topping
Instructions
Step 1: Create the crunch by mixing crushed wafers, gelatin powder, and melted butter; bake at 350°F for 5 minutes if a toastier flavor is desired.
Step 2: Chill your glasses and drizzle the inside with strawberry syrup.
Step 3: Blend ice cream, milk, and fresh strawberries until thick and smooth.
Step 4: Pulse in half of the crunch topping into the blender briefly.
Step 5: Pour into glasses and top with whipped cream and the remaining crunch topping.
Notes
For an even thicker shake, freeze your strawberries before adding them to the blender.
