Description
A vibrant and chewy twist on the classic crispy rice treat featuring strawberry gelatin and a creamy white chocolate topping.
Ingredients
1 family-size box Kellogg’s Rice Krispies Cereal
1 bag Kraft Jet-Puffed Mini Marshmallows
1 stick Land O Lakes Unsalted Butter
1 box Jell-O Strawberry Gelatin
1 bag Toll House Premier White Morsels
Instructions
Step 1: Line a 9x13-inch pan with parchment paper and set aside.
Step 2: Melt 1 stick of butter in a large pot over low heat.
Step 3: Add the mini marshmallows and stir until almost completely melted.
Step 4: Remove from heat and stir in the strawberry gelatin powder until the mixture is pink and smooth.
Step 5: Fold in the Rice Krispies cereal until thoroughly coated in the pink marshmallow cream.
Step 6: Gently press the mixture into the prepared pan using a greased spatula; do not pack tightly.
Step 7: Melt the white chocolate morsels and spread evenly over the top of the treats.
Step 8: Allow to set for 30 minutes before slicing into squares.
Notes
Ensure marshmallows are fresh for a soft texture. Do not boil the marshmallow mixture or the treats will be hard.
