A fun and portable no-bake dessert featuring creamy cheesecake filling and fruity toppings inside a vanilla wafer bag.
Ingredients
6 single-serving mini vanilla wafer bags
1 package (8 oz) cream cheese, softened
1/2 cup powdered sugar
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 tub (8 oz) Cool Whip
1 can (21 oz) cherry pie filling or strawberry topping
2 tablespoons graham cracker crumbs (optional)
Instructions
Step 1: In a medium mixing bowl, beat the softened cream cheese with a hand mixer until it is smooth and creamy.
Step 2: Add the powdered sugar and vanilla extract to the bowl and beat until fully combined.
Step 3: Gently fold the Cool Whip into the cream cheese mixture using a spatula until well blended.
Step 4: Open the mini vanilla wafer bags and spoon or pipe about 1/3 cup of the cheesecake mixture into each bag.
Step 5: Top each bag with a generous spoonful of cherry pie filling or strawberry topping and optional graham cracker crumbs.
Notes
Ensure the cream cheese is fully at room temperature to avoid lumps. For a 'Walking Turtle' version, use caramel sauce and pecans instead of fruit.
